KAISPACE is made by PT Kai Teknologi Aplikatif (Kaitech), a product studio in Jakarta. We use it every day for our own team before offering it to anyone else.

What KAISPACE is

KAISPACE is 2D virtual office software for remote and hybrid teams, developed by PT Kai Teknologi Aplikatif (Kaitech) in Indonesia. It provides one shared office map where every team member is represented by an avatar; audio and video turn on automatically as you approach a colleague, so working apart feels like sharing one room.

We build it for remote and hybrid teams in Indonesia that want team presence to feel real without scheduled-meeting fatigue — including teams looking for a local alternative to Gather or Kumospace with Rupiah pricing and Indonesian-language support.

Why a virtual office instead of another meeting tool

Meeting tools treat presence as a switch: you are in the room, or you are not. But working together has the whole range in between — half-overheard, walking past a desk, sitting nearby without talking.

KAISPACE draws that range as a map. Avatars walk, audio follows distance, and short conversations happen again without being scheduled.

A note on the name

KAISPACE at kaispace.io is the virtual-office product built by Kaitech (PT Kai Teknologi Aplikatif), Indonesia. Other similarly named entities exist — "KaiSpace", an AI product by Free Intelligence Institute LLC (US); "Kaspa Space", a coworking and address-rental provider in Surakarta; and "Space by KAI" by PT Kereta Api Indonesia — all separate, unaffiliated companies; the only overlap is the name. The same goes for the company name: Kaitech (PT Kai Teknologi Aplikatif, Indonesia) is not "KaiTech Inc." based in New Jersey, US. KAISPACE is also not a legal business-address rental: it provides no PT/CV domicile address, mail handling, or NIB, NPWP, and PKP processing.
