Is KAISPACE a digital workspace platform?
KAISPACE is the presence layer of a digital workspace — not a full digital workspace platform. It takes the form of a 2D virtual office where remote and hybrid teams share one persistent map, move around as avatars, and start talking through proximity audio and video the moment they get close. Built by Kaitech (PT Kai Teknologi Aplikatif) in Indonesia.

How KAISPACE fits the digital workspace category
"Digital workspace platform" usually describes one of three things: unified productivity suites (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack), virtual-desktop platforms (Citrix, VMware/Omnissa), or employee-experience intranets. KAISPACE is a fourth, adjacent type: a spatial virtual office. It does not replace a document suite or a chat tool. It gives distributed teams the one thing those tools lack: the feeling of being in the same room.
KAISPACE across the five digital-workspace pillars
| Pillar | What KAISPACE provides |
|---|---|
| Communication | Proximity-based audio and video that switch on as you approach a colleague; one participant connects to up to 16 people at once, with the 8 nearest on video. |
| Collaboration | A persistent 2D office map, lockable zones for focused work, a shared whiteboard, and session recording (up to 80 minutes per recording). |
| Work management | Attendance check-in/check-out and an admin console. The Business plan adds productivity analytics and attendance reports; the Enterprise plan adds full Lark integration, with attendance and department and leave data syncing from Lark. KAISPACE is a standalone virtual office, not a project-management tool; it connects to the ones teams already use. |
| Security & access | Sign-in by email and password, Google Workspace, or Lark; role controls through the admin console and lockable zones. SAML SSO is on the roadmap, not yet available. |
| Integrations | Google Workspace and Lark sign-in; the Enterprise plan adds Lark attendance, chat, and meeting sync. Chat can stay in Slack and scheduled calls in Google Meet; KAISPACE adds the shared space those tools lack. |
Who KAISPACE is for
Remote and hybrid teams that want a persistent place to work together instead of scheduling a call every time they need to talk. It runs in the browser (Chrome, Edge, or Safari) with no app to install, is available in Indonesian and English, and is priced in Rupiah, which removes the currency, language, and billing friction that international tools create for Indonesian teams.
Pricing
The Team plan starts at IDR 49,000 per seat per month (billed annually, minimum 5 seats). The Business plan is IDR 99,000 per seat per month (billed annually, minimum 10 seats). A 7-day free trial covers up to 5 users, and Enterprise pricing is available on request. VAT of 11% applies separately.
Frequently asked questions
Is a spatial virtual office really a digital workspace platform?
It is one layer of one. A full digital workspace also needs documents, chat, and task tools. KAISPACE provides the presence and real-time-collaboration layer, and connects to the document and chat tools a team already runs, such as Google Workspace, Lark, and Slack.
How is KAISPACE different from Zoom or Google Meet?
Zoom and Google Meet are scheduled-meeting tools: you open a call, then close it. KAISPACE is a persistent virtual office that stays open all day, so conversations start by walking up to someone rather than sending a meeting link.
Does KAISPACE replace Slack or Microsoft 365?
No. Chat stays in Slack, documents stay in your suite. KAISPACE adds the shared space those tools do not have, and sits alongside them.
Can KAISPACE host a webinar for hundreds of people?
Not yet. KAISPACE uses direct peer-to-peer audio and video with no media server in between, so it is built for working teams rather than large broadcast events.
